Análise dinâmica de estrutura flexível em meio fluido

Abstract

A hydroelastic reduced model of one of the tall and flexible legs of a jack-up platform is used for investigation of the effects of large amplitude displacements, and fluidstructure interaction on its dynamic behaviour and on the structural and hydrodynamic damping factors. It is shown that this simplified model, designed and constructed according the Similitude Theory, besides being adequate to represent the overall mechanical characteristics of the complete jack-up model, yields some relevant experimental results that could serve as a guide for rational design of this type offshore structure.
