Cálculo automático de cortinas ancoradas pelo método de Brinch Hansen

Abstract

A description of the theoretical fundamentals of Brinch Hansen’s method of earth pressure calculation is given in this work, and a computer program is presented for analysis of anchored sheet-pile walls with one or no yield hinges in its state of failure. A comparison is made between the results found by this method and those from conventional methods. Design optimization of anchored retaining structures is also shown.
