Cuidados de enfermagem na UTI neonatal ao pai prematuro: uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

The present monograph consists of a research that proposes to identify, based on the national and international literature, the existing nursing care related to the insertion of the father in the care of the premature newborn in the NICU. It is an evidence-based research, where the integrative literature review method was used. To guide the research, the following guiding question was elaborated: Which nursing care aimed at the insertion of the father in the care of the premature newborn in the NICU? After thorough research, the main results obtained relate to six scientific papers. It was verified the need to deepen the topic, due to a reduced bibliography, and it was noticed that the care model is still focused on the participation of the maternal figure, generating a disprivileged look of the nursing team in front of the paternal figure, which may be a factor of difficulty for the creation of the father-baby bond.
