Promoção da saúde no ambiente escolar

Abstract

The present work aims at knowing how young people participating in the project “Papo Cabeça” perceive gender-based violence and to develop methods of intervention for the target audience of the project. Through the verification of how these adolescents understand gender violence, will be plausible to infer how they perceive the different types of violence as an act of gender violence, thus, may be offered ways to work with gender issues in schools. For this research, is essential, the use of questionnaires with closed questions and multiple choice questions where the respondent can express their views in this way will be a viable comparison between the various participants. The main results expected from the experiment in groups of young people are mostly perceived gender violence solely as physical violence experienced between women and men. It is important actions to promote spaces for reflection involving gender issues in school, because this is a favorable environment for the deconstruction of sexist roles.
