Abstract

Presents a methodology to evaluation of water demand for irrigation use and its influence in an inter-connected hydropower system energy production. An application of the irrigation water evaluation using the São Francisco river-basin is presented verifying its influence over the electrical energy production in Northeast hydropower system (CHESF system).
