Autonomia e visibilidade: a estratégia organizativa das “coletivas lésbicas autônomas” na construção da política de visibilidade no Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The present work aims to identify the strategies carried out by the Autonomous Lesbian Collectives for the construction of the Lesbian Visibility policy in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It sought to understand the dialogues of the Autonomous Communities with the Institutionality, and at the same time highlight this process. The proposal of the Law was understood as a symbolic device for the enunciation of a new subject, in this case, the Lesbian Black Woman. It is constructed from a historical-structuralist perspective with the intention of photographing the most representative contemporary episodes, concentrated in three central axes which are: the period of redemocratization in Brazil, the HIV crisis and the events of June 2013. The scopes examined are: experience, thought and actions; analytical proposal of intersectional feminism, which gives a special value to daily living, collected from interviews with the activists involved in this process. Finally, there is a conceptualization of autonomy based on the experience of the construction of the proposed Law that combines several streams of thought such as: political theory, identity, and intersectionality. As a consequence of this analysis, I culminate in the characterization of what I have called Lesboblackization of Power as a collective learning.
