Sobre a aplicação da representação de Beltrami a solução da equação do movimento para os meios contínuos

Abstract

The subject of this work is the integration of the dynamical equations of continuous media in the spacetime formalism. We have stablished a generalization for an dimencional space, of a theorem on stress functions of Gurtin’s, which enables us to write a representation theorem for the solution of the equations of motion in space-time. The solution obtained generalize those given by Beltrami, Maxwell, Morera and Truesdell.
