Memórias e Cultura do Carimbó do Pará na Guanabara: diálogos para Amazonizar a Formação Politécnica

Abstract

This dissertation aims to contribute due to understanding of the term Amazonizar and to critical analyses through the approximation of Amazonic Themes at the Technology Center (CT) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and at the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Development (NIDES). The proposal was forwarded in the line of research Work and Polytechnic Education and coordinated in the Multimedia Education Group (GEM), having a participatory and collaborative perspective with the intention of involving Popular Knowledge from the Amazon, through the curation of the Memory and Culture of Pará’s Carimbó in Rio de Janeiro. The work presents Systematizations of Experiences when navigating through Research-Teaching-Extension practices in Guanabara, based on the interview with Masters of Popular Culture of Carimbó, during the meeting at the X Pan-Amazonian Social Forum (FOSPA) in Ananindeua, Metropolitan Region of Belém do Pará, resulting in Educational Workshops and Audiovisual Products for the construction of interdisciplinary and multimedia content, intertwining Amazonic Studies and Academic-Scientific-Popular Thought for Social and Environmental Development.
