Abstract

The origin of the base concepts from these technologies are dated from World War II where the advent of radar allowed the development of a method for identifying aircrafts. After that, with the improvements over the years, many applications were developed for the use of radiofrequency identification. Actually the technology is widely used in many areas and the tendency is to be closer to the people with the popularization of smartphones with embedded NFC chips that can replace the credit cards, ids and even the keys we carry in pocket.
