Abstract

This work exposes the occidental philosophy as an epistemicide playing field, which can be described as the action practiced by a European elite upon the other peoples of the world. When they were not murdered (exterminated), they were treated as savages, unaware of their own existence and deprived of any knowledge, unfolding consequences that remain until the present days. This essay aims at presenting an amendment that the decolonial philosophy can establish over the strength philosophy by philosophically facing an epistemology based on the idea of the individual, the decolonial thought presents a strength philosophy that, instead of setting apart men in anonymous individuals, it connects them in a community in which the collective strength benefits from the individual one.
