Resumo

This research intends to bring to the visually impaired comuunity tools and methods more appropriated to technology and accessibility adoption. This work introduces also mechanisms that enable the interaction between visually impaired and people who do not have disabilities in their vision during the knowledge process. This research was based on the technology acceptance model Unified Theory of Tecnology Acceptance (UTAUT) and applied to students of distance course JOGAVOX (software for comprehensive educational development based on games). The results indicate that the information exchange and building a collaborative learning with the students characteristics mentioned above, present potential to invest in improving in this area. Among the possibilities are highlighted favoring the construction of knowledge; improving the learning of assistive technology; and acceptance and development of collaborative work.
