Equipe multiprofissional: atuação do nutricionista nas intercorrências do aleitamento materno no âmbio hospitalar

Abstract

Introduction: The superiority of breastfeeding over other forms of infants feeeding is scientifically proven and widely disseminated. Fron this point of view, breastfeeding is one of the main actions of primary health care. Objective: To carry out a bibliografhic survey about the performance of the nutritionist member of the multiprofessional team in the intercurrences of breastfeeding in the hospital setting. Method: An integrative review of the scientific literature was carried out with reference to the database: Virtual Health Library (VHL), Capes Journals and Scientific Eletronic Library online (SCIELO), with articles fron the period 2013 to 2018, in the languages Portuguese and English. Results: We initially identified 67 articles. Of these, 4 references were selected. Conclusion: The studies analyzed evidenced the freat challenge of working as a breastfeeding orientation and the need for training of the professionals and confirmed the importance of the performance of the nutritionist in the multiprofessional team focused on breastfeeding.
