Perfil de mulheres em situação de abortamento atendidas na Maternidade Escola da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The objective was to identify and describe the sociodemographic and gynecological-obstetric profile of women in situations of abortion attended at the Maternity School of the University Federal do Rio de Janeiro and identify the method of uterine emptying used. it is about of a basic, descriptive, retrospective research with a quantitative approach with 134 medical records of women undergoing the procedure. There was a redominance of the age group from 29 to 38 years old, mixed race, residing in program area 2.1, in the city of RJ. THE most were primiparous, nulliparous, without previous abortion. No history of previous illness, they do not use drugs and do not suffer violence. had bleeding in the admission. Abortions were spontaneous, incomplete and early. legal abortion occurred due to sexual violence. Hospitalization lasted one day and curettage was the treatment. more used. Some data were missing from medical records. the presence of companion and multidisciplinary care were points of care humanized that need expansion.
