Política da mobilidade urbana sustentável na administração municipal de Teresina

Abstract

The main idea of this paper is analyze the municipal management of urban mobility in Teresina to provide study allowance in the order to articulate public policies aimed at adopting alternative forms of transportation to reach all citizens, where bycicle is a tool in a search for a more sustainable and inclusive Teresina. Based on a urban development seeking more equitable pattern of spatial mobility, this paper was elaborated taking care to warn to a stagnation of urban society and what can be done in the order of municipal actions, supported on incentives and federal laws created in 2000's.
