Aplicação dos métodos eletromagnéticos na Bacia Sergipe-Alagoas

Abstract

In this work the eletromagnetic method is presented in the context of the characterization of the Sergipe-Alagoas basin. As first step the Sergipe-Alagoas basin is studied in all his geological aspects. At the second part three different methods are presented, from theoretical fundaments to the data processing. They are the Magnetotelluric Method, the Controlled Source Electromagnetic Method (CSEM) and the Transient Eletromagnetic Method (TEM). And the end a case study is presented, based on a previous work about a TEM recording in this basin.
