Abstract

The article aims to contribute to the debate about the participation of civil society in the area of sanitation, its limitations and perspectives. It seeks to deepen the discussion around the mechanism of social control in sanitation management, based on the analysis of the Brazilian legislation that regulates and disciplines the provision of basic sanitation services in Brazil.
