Coelba: privatização e os impactos da tarifa de energia na economia das famílias camponesas

Abstract

The debate in this research work on energy will start from the discussion about the privatization of the electric sector, energy tariffs and the impacts on the economy of peasant families. Understanding the complexity and comprehensiveness of the theme and considering the Brazilian diversity, we will make a cut, centering the discussion about the Electricity Company of the State of Bahia - COELBA, its privatization process and the impacts of the tariff charged in the peasant economy. Within the context of Bahia and directing the look at the maintenance of the family economy, we asked: Is there an impact of the electric energy tariff practiced by Coelba in the economy of the peasant families? For a better understanding of the proposal of this research on energy tariff, we also ask: Do energy tariffs interfere with the economy of peasant families? In the family space who is responsible for the maintenance of this service?
