A precariedade politicamente induzida e o empreendedor de si mesmo: o caso Uber sob uma perspectiva de diálogo entre Butler, Dardot e Laval

Abstract

This study is based on the works of Judith Butler, Christian Laval and Pierre Dardot and it investigates if there has been any political injustice against the livelyhoods of Brazilian app drivers and if the Brazilian federal state has been encouraging this precarious situation. Between 2018 and 2019 Empirical research with a qualitative analysis was made, taking into account all the drivers provided questionnaire, from Uber, in Brazil. Also brought into this argument were the main political discussions responsible for the alteration of the national law alongside some decisions taken by the high court to fit app drivers into self employment app driver's workframe. This study shows the legal precariousness of the app drivers' life style in Brazil and how they are been framed as individuals responsible for their own unfortunate situation they find themselves in.
