Dilemas e possibilidades para a agricultura brasileira

Abstract

The article critically analyzes the current model of agricultural expansion in Brazil, based on predatory forms of spatial occupation and social exclusion, and argues that diversifying, understanding, adapting, and protecting the environment are much more intelligent and efficient ways of achieving sustainable agriculture within the complex reality of a planet with growing environmental risks.
