Determinação do coeficiente de Poisson de solos, compactados, no ensaio triaxial dinâmico e o cálculo de deflexão de pavimentos

Abstract

This Research work deals with dynamic on repeated loading triaxial test with measurement of radial and axial strains, in order to determine the Poisson's ratio. Seven soil samples from two pavement profiles (BR 101/SC highway) were tested. From data obtained in these testes an analysis was made of considering either constant or variable Poisson's ratio (under different principal stress ratios) in the calculation of maximom deflection and resilient surface deformations (deflection dishes). The methodology for flexible pavement overlay design as developed at COPPE/UFRJ was applied to evaluate the effect of either constant on variable Posson's ratio into the overlay thickness.
