Projeto de estruturação urbana como reconhecimento das tipicidades locais: análise do caso da Região Administrativa de Campo Grande

Abstract

This paper addresses the Structuring Urban Project (PEU) and its relevance to Administrative Region of Campo Grande urban planning, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Expected to answer some questions related to its real influence in land use and land cover, as well as to recognize and to question the fundamental differences in the PEU’s definitions in 1992 and 2011 Master Plans. To this end, we conducted a brief rescue of municipal plans to introduce the topic of local planning and were performed a survey of socioeconomic and infrastructure context in the region in order to beacon the analysis of the ordinances proposed in Complementary Law no.72/2004, which originated the Campo Grande PEU. The fieldwork was based on interviews with former members of the team that conducted the work of this plan. We tryed to relate the actions of public management and the accelerated growth of the real estate market with the approval of PEU, as well as understanding the role of local planning within the Master Plan 2011.
