PARNA Chapada dos Guimarães e sistema de Baías Chacororé - Sinhá Mariana: um estudo dos biomas Cerrado e Pantanal

Abstract

The Pantanal and Cerrado biomes encompass a significant part of the Brazilian territory, harboring great biodiversity, as well as populations that depend on the region for their survival, raising the importance of their conservation. The objective of this study was to verify the work carried out between 2005 and 2019 in the Chacororé - Sinhá Mariana Bay System and the Chapada dos Guimarães National Park in Mato Grosso, in the state of Mato Grosso, to identify the development of research with importance for the environmental conservation of the Cerrado and Pantanal biomes. The methodology used was the bibliometric study, based on articles that contain in their title, abstract, keywords, introduction and / or methodology pre-selected keywords. The bibliographic sources of research were the Web of Science, Scielo and CAPES periodicals portal. The main results identified showed that researchers are interested in studying both areas, with publications in journals with high Qualis, but the research themes do not encompass all the characteristics of the Pantanal and Cerrado biomes, because the focus was environmental and ecological, not having the interdisciplinarity that the area of Environmental Sciences covers. Therefore, when dealing with the habitat complexity in the Pantanal and Cerrado, especially in the study areas, one can see from this survey that the amount of biodiversity information in the areas was not significantly explored.
