Pós-modernismo, história antiga e arqueologia: algumas reflexões

Abstract

Nothing could disappoint more an historian than perceive his work is being used by Holocaust deniers. But what can we learn from this? We aim to highlight some reflections on postmodernism in the studies of Ancient History and Archeology, offering some insights about relativisms, the right of choice and the engagement duty expected from the historian in his sacred mission to defy conservatism and resisting the status quo.
