Estrutura do texto narrativo

Abstract

The narrative is a symbolic presentation of a network of events, which are linked by a series of specific constituents to determine the course of the story. After a theoretical study, the essential constituents of a narrative text are made available in two dimensions: the estructural dimension composed for macro prepositions such as exposure, complication, climax and outcome, which provides a logic of meaning through the positioning of the agents disposed in the constitutive dimension: plot, characters, narrator, speech, space and time, which in turn, are grouped into smaller propositions to form the syntactic sentences of the text. The present report is, therefore, a study on an elementary structure of the narrative, that is, the essential macros and micro constituents of the standard or canonical narrative, which are here arranged in the systemic logical format of representation, called the systemic network. The systemic network makes it possible for the scalar levels of a narrative to be treated in a quantitative and qualitative way, by enabling competent software to evaluate the agents involved in a narrative and a graph analysis to be made available to provide improvements in the narrative text.
