Lutos diversos e os impactos na gestação com diagnóstico de mola hidatiforme: uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

Objective: This study is a bibliographical review that aims to analyze what science tells us about the meanings of grief and how we can generate discussion about this process in a molar pregnancy. Selection criteria: Articles, theses and dissertations available in Portuguese or English, free of charge, published in the last five years and found complete. These studies should address topics such as: maternal grief, emotional impacts of molar pregnancy and pregnancy loss, which contribute to understanding how a diagnosis of Hydatidiform Mole affects those who face it. Work focused on COVID-19, studies that did not include the aforementioned and found to be duplicates were excluded. Results and Discussion: The following meaning cores were constructed – Perinatal Grief compared to Molar Pregnancy Mourning, Psychological Factors and Emotional Reactions to Hydatidiform Mole, Mechanisms for Coping with Grief and Support for Pregnant Women with Hydatidiform Mole. Conclusion: Among the symptoms related to mourning experienced in the pregnancy loss of Hydatidiform Mole, anxious and depressive states were most frequently evident. Reference Centers are places that will provide adequate treatment for the illness and health professionals, especially Psychology, can contribute to support the impacts of the loss.
