Abstract

The present study seeks to study the urban evolution of the city of Rio de Janeiro, having as criterion chosen for this study was the municipal legislation of this locality, but not through the laws on large public works, expropriations, competitions etc, but by a look at the inner evolution of the city, what would be happening in the urban microcosm, inside the private lot, of which were the relations between man, lot, building, street. And what kind of city would be forming with these relationships.
