As potencialidades do blog como ferramenta pedagógica

Abstract

Among the various technological tools used in education, blogs are becoming increasingly widespread, being used as a complement to the teaching of disciplines, improving communication between students and teachers because of the ease of creating and using and being closer to the world students. Besides its usefulness as a communication tool between students and teachers, this also has served as a source of continuing education for teachers, with a rich space for information exchange between those who can share their experiences and seek solutions for their practice. In view of the spread of blogs in education, this study aimed to analize its fundamental pedagogical potential, from the perspective of teachers. As a guiding technological CIEP 149 Brizolão D. Carmita, since 2009 been developing and mediating a blog devoted to discussing about the use of information technologies and communication technologies (ICTs) in education, the Blog "Using the Media in Education." In this work, the subjects were composed of 13 teachers who have participated in my blog. To analyze the opinions of teachers on the educational use of blogs, we applied a semi-open. The research was conducted subject to the acceptance or not to participate in it and, if so, this was documented by completing a consent form signed by (a) professor (a). The results were statistically analyzed using the Excel 2007 program. It was concluded that the teachers interviewed, most of them, often use the suggestions of activities offered there, perceiving it as a place where not only are their ideas for planning, but also as a space where they can inform and update on the use of media in education.
