Abstract

This second edition aims to review and expand the previous edition. It includes the material that was posted weekly on the Linguistics – M. Carlota Rosa blog after the version that would become the first edition was completed, at the end of 2021. It also seeks to make it easier for students to consult the material from the Fundamentals of Linguistics/Linguistics I classes. In this new edition, the organization of the chapters has changed, to be closer to the organization of the syllabus for the Fundamentals of Linguistics/Linguistics I subject and to serve as a general overview in preparation for selection for the Master's degree in Linguistics.
