Responsible for causing the death of about one million people worldwide per year, according to WHO (2017), tuberculosis has its disease process directly related to unfavorable socioeconomic factors, having a greater impact on vulnerable populations socially and economically. The treatment of the disease involves the use of four drugs, for one period of at least six months, a factor that hinders treatment adherence. Furthermore, factors such as late access to diagnosis and treatment, deficiency in control programs, difficult access to health services lead to the emergence of cases of resistance to treatment drugs. The treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis cases has complexities mainly related to the long duration of the treatment, serious adverse effects in the use of medications and the need for articulation of different levels of attention involved in patient care. The follow-up of cases is performed at the Tertiary References, specialized clinics. Notification of cases is made in a special notification system, the SITETB, a system that should be complementary SINAN, where cases are managed and monitored. The quality of information is a problem faced in all fields of activity in which I worked during the period of multiprofessional residency in collective health, highlighting the importance of health care systems. information as tools in the field of health surveillance and action planning of tuberculosis control. Thus, the aim of this study was to describe the inconsistencies of resistance ratings in TBDR notifications at SITETB, in the State of Rio de January, in the period 2010 to 2019. The results of the study showed that the information from the SITETB and SINAN systems has not been complementary as recommended. Regarding the analysis of the dimensions of data quality in SITETB, it was found that: the consistency in the classification of cases of primary resistance was 89%, when compared with notifications of previous treatments in SINAN; the completeness mean primary resistance case data was approximately 72%; The opportunity for treatment within the established range occurred in 54% of cases of primary resistance. The inconsistencies found in the resistance case data primary suggest the need for improvements in the data production process in the systems of information, which should involve different subjects and levels of care, in the search for improvements in the integration of the actors that make up the patient care network, ensuring appropriate treatment conditions.
