História da política cicloviária no município do Rio de Janeiro sob os impactos da ECO 92

Abstract

The study aims at analyzing the systematics of the cycle planning policy in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, since the end of the 1980s - when the city is preparing to receive ECO 92, admitting, for that, the analysis of Agenda 21 with regard to motorized transportation - up to the current administration. It also aims to collaborate with other researches related to the theme of transport, with special attention to the cycle modal, and contribute to the formation of an awareness of the influences of the quality of intra-urban transport for a healthier life.
