Abstract

The article addresses the issue of Financial Education as one of the pillars of economic and social development. The study presented in the theoretical and documental framework verifies the concepts of Financial Education and the connection of this type of information to the positive contribution to the Economy in the 21st century. is an important contribution to the economy in the 21st century? The methodology used is anchored in survey research as an investigative strategy; in documentary, bibliographic and statistical methods; as a source of information, digital files and websites of economic research institutions and scientific works in the area were used. The originality of the survey data is secondary; the research is basic in nature and descriptive in nature in terms of objectives. The technical procedures used were bibliographic and documentary, with transversal temporality. From the results obtained, it can be said that the countries that invest the most and that have already included Financial Education subjects in school curricula have an economically more sustainable, more stable economy, compared to the economies of countries that have not yet done so or that have done so. inefficiently.
