Experiência do ensino de computação I: um estudo de caso

Abstract

This paper describes the automatization process of the Introductory Course of Computer Programming at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The system, called "AMBIENTE " runs under Unix operating system and was designed to have a friendly interface with teachers and students. The problems which led to the solutions used in the "AMBIENTE" system are also described, both from an operational and personal utilization points of view.
