Contribuições do ensino de química para a educação e gestão socioambiental escolar: um projeto para a escola

Abstract

Environmental issues are debated in various spheres of society, due to the negative impacts arising from human actions. Therefore, it is necessary to apply studies and strategies for environmental awareness. Thus, in search of a sustainable society, the school is a privileged space for actions that enable this reflection and is essential in the formation of citizens. The present work aimed to implement an environmental education program linked to socio-environmental management through the Teaching of Chemistry, in a public education institution. As a management tool, the guidelines present in the Environmental Agenda for Public Administration - A3P were used. To this end, a brief study of the insertion of environmental education in the school environment was carried out, followed by a literature review - environmental education at school and; environmental projects at school and the BNCC. At the end, the consequences of environmental education actions linked to socio-environmental management, promoted through a project for the school, were analyzed. The methodological steps were based on the A3P: Formation of the Environmental Management team, followed by the school socio-environmental diagnosis; survey of students' and teachers' perception of the environment through questionnaires; creation of the project's visual identity, in addition to training and raising awareness among the school community; and referenced by the author Genebaldo Freire Dias. The work developed was quite satisfactory, as in addition to adding knowledge to students, teachers and employees, all of them showed interest, not only in changing habits, but also in disseminating sustainability to the entire school community, taking into account some difficulties encountered for the implementation of the environmental project.
