Normas e usos das áreas agrícolas da zona oeste do município do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The objective of this work is to demonstrate the process by which, over time, the agricultural areas of the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro had their altered use, mainly due to the action of the public power, either through public policies that guided the elaboration of laws and decrees of land use and occupation, or through factual actions, such as the implementation of landfills and housing complexes in these areas.
