Avaliação da qualidade de vida no bairro de Icaraí segundo seus habitantes

Abstract

The objective of this study is to detect the indicators of urban quality of life and the values ​​attributed to them. This was done from the individual opinions of some residents of the neighborhood of Icaraí. Residential neighborhood, but densely occupied in the municipality of Niterói, state of Rio de Janeiro. The initial concern was related to the population density, where it was assumed that such densification would cause a "degradation" in the quality of life suffered by the neighborhood with the change in the model of occupation and land use.
