Método de projeto no ensino de design de interiores e os aspectos convergentes com o campo do design: mapeamento do método de projeto nas IES brasileiras

Abstract

Research carried out with the Interior Design courses, bachelor level, of public and private nature, regularly active in Brazil, with the objective of mapping and identifying how each institution deals with the methodological aspects of the design disciplines in its units. Based on applied qualitative research, with a well- defined methodological approach, reflections were made on convergences and divergences between the design methods in Design – Product Design and Interior Design, safeguarding their specificities. It discusses the steps and techniques of the project method in Interior Design, passing through the understanding of the briefing and concept in the two professions. Finally, positive, and negative aspects of remote teaching will be pointed out during the period of social isolation, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The research reveals significant adherence of the methods applied in the teaching of interior design with Design area.
