Saída possível: o caminho da resiliência

Abstract

The present work has the objective to analyze the concept of resilience proposed by Boris Cyrulnik. In addition to studying the main concepts present in the formulation of this theory and to propose some recommendations for professionals who work with traumatized children and their families. It presents the work of resilience from the formation of temperament within the pre-verbal interactions of the baby with the environment, thus pointing to the importance of the environment in healthy child development. Within this analysis he approaches the concept of secure attachment proposed by John Bowlby. It analyzes the concept of trauma as aggression and rupture in the development process and its subjectivating and desubjectivizing aspects, in order to think about how aggression may or may not be characterized as trauma to the subject taking into account their temperament and the way the medium interferes in the elaboration Of trauma. From this discussion we briefly comment on the situation of precariousness experienced by children in the city of Rio de Janeiro and in the world. And then there are some fundamentals needed for the traumatic wound repair process: such as the importance of training professionals to work with traumatized children, their role as resilient guardians, the role of the State as a provider of the child's basic needs, and Of their family and also think a place of expression and positive affectation for these children.
