Barragens de terra sobre solos "porosos": análise de soluções de drenagem na fundação

Abstract

Steady flow simulations by the Finite Elements Method are made utilizing a tipical cross seccion of a homogeneous earth-dam resting on a geological profile with the "porous" soil as a upper layer and the transition soil-bedrock as a more pervious layer. Different types of foundation drainage systems are simulated, and its influence on the downstream slope stability is verified.
