Tratamento da obesidade no ambulatório de adolescente: a participação de responsáveis

Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to study the participation of the main responsible in the treatment of obesity with teenagers. A research was maid with 9 responsible who were present in the teenager’s medical appointment, they interviewed by a semi-structured question that was used as a support for others that could appear according to the interviewee. The data analysis was structured by a non aprioristic method where 7 categories were defined. We could conclude that the participation of the family is essential for the adherence to treatment, highlighting that problems with weight are normally faced by generations.
