Avaliação do conteúdo de formação do técnico em mecânica do CEFET/RJ em face das tecnologias em uso no estado do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The present study aims at evaluating training content of the Technical Course of Mechanics from CEFET/RJ. Maracanã unit, in front of the technologies in use in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The research looked at teaching systems adopted in some countries and their criteria for defining training content. Designed technologies of the future. Raised the necessary skills in egress training reports and in interviews with industry representatives involved with the activities of these professionals. The surveys indicated the importance of a solid training, with mastery of the theoretical concepts that support the technological contents. The content of training should be defined locally, with the participation of educational institutions, companies operating in the region and representatives of professionals. The projection of future technologies indicates massive use of information and communication technology in automated processes, with increased presence of robots and local and remote interconnection between equipment and management software and the supply chain. Simulation and processes of design, production and production planning and control will be supported by integrated software. Misalignments and lags in contents observed in the surveys of the alumni reports and in the evaluation interviews show the need to update and adapt the local needs. The necessary changes raised will be proposed to be sent to the collegiate of the course for discussion, evaluation and adequacy. The development of this work can be replicated in similar studies within and outside the scope of CEFET / RJ.
