| dc.description.abstract | The study of the stability of a structure composed by the association of walls is based on the study of the stability of isolated walls. In the present work, it is obtained the value of critical tension, through the application of the differential equation for rectangular wall and also through the potential energy principle. The result obtained is used in the study of the stability of a composed structure by the association of four rectangular walls joined along their longitudinal edges. The general equations obtained herein showed that with the hipothesis adopted, the local buckling is not largely influencied by the association of multiple walls. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.resumo | O estudo da estabilidade de uma estrutura formada pela associação de paredes se fundamenta no estudo da estabilidade de paredes isoladas. Neste trabalho, através da dedução da equação diferencial de uma parede retangular e do princípio da energia potencial, obtém-se o valor da tensão crítica atuante. O resultado obtido é utilizado no estudo da estabilidade de uma estrutura formada pela associação de quatro paredes retangulares ligadas pelos bordos longitudinais. As equações gerais obtidas neste trabalho mostraram que, com as hipóteses adotadas, a flambagem local é pouco influenciada, pela associação de paredes múltiplas. | pt_BR |
